ABOUT ME

I live in the beautiful county of Dorset, close to Wareham. I am married to my beautiful wife, Jacqui. I grew up in Wimborne before moving west a little after meeting Jacqui. I love the outdoors and meeting new people. I got drawn to sailing as a young kid and still enjoy sailing today. I also enjoy walking, archery and of course photography. I’ve been snapping away with a camera all my life. I love capturing that special moment. The joy of seeing someone’s reactions to that timeless image of a loved one is immeasurable.

I prefer to capture those special moments in an environment that is comfortable and familiar to the individual rather than a cold studio. I can travel just about anywhere to capture that special moment of you in a natural, relaxed setting of your choice.

Everyone hates sitting in a studio faking a smile or pose. I use a mobile studio kit enabling me to come to you, saving you time and energy. I can set up in as little as around 5 square metres or simply use your environment as the setting. The advantage of coming to you means less stress for you getting to a studio. I can come to you or we can go to your special place. This means not only do we capture that special moment, but it fits in and around you, in a place you love. It also means when working with children or pets they are in an environment they are used to and will be more relaxed.

MY PROCESS

Unlike a lot of photographers, I do not limit the number of images available to the client. I simply snap away whilst I’m with you. Afterwards I process the images doing any minor editing or cropping before making them available to you. You can then download all of the final images with the rights to print as you please, or share them with friends and family, all included in the shoot. If you prefer, I am happy to make the images available on a USB stick.

Terms of Business

A deposit of 50% is required on booking with the remainder payable 48 hours before the shoot.  Larger events require payment in full 1 month before the shoot. You may cancel at any time however if you cancel with less than 1 month notice your deposit will not be refunded.  All images are made available to the client after editing and processing.  There are no guaranteed number of images for any shoot.  All suitable images taken during a shoot will be made available on line within a secure, password-protected page on the client login page.  The customer is then free to download or purchase printed images as they wish via the site, subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

CLIENT’S USAGE

The client shall only use the digital files in accordance with the permissions within this agreement. The client’s digital files are for personal use only and shall not be submitted to contests, reproduced for commercial use, or reproduced in any way by parties other than Nicholas Damien Photography. The redistribution of digital images is strictly prohibited.

Nicholas Damien Photography grants the client personal use license to reproduce Media via print only for any non-commercial use, including but not limited to reprints, enlargements, gifts to family and friends, slide shows, and personal web pages. Title and ownership, and all rights now and in the future, of and for the Media remain exclusively with Nicholas Damien Photography. There are no warranties, express or implied. The Media is provided “as is.”

SOCIAL MEDIA

The client may share images. All images posted on social media require a direct link or credit towards Nicholas Damien Photography.

WHAT YOU MAY DO

Personal, Non-Commercial use of the Media includes:

Display on personal websites and computers

Making image prints for personal use.

WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

The client may not:

Re-sell, re-license, sub-license, redistribute without express written permission from Nicholas Damien Photography

Use the Media in any way whatsoever in which you charge money, collect fees, or receive any form of remuneration

Use the Media in advertising, without express written permission from Nicholas Damien Photography

Use the Media in a pornographic, obscene, illegal, immoral, libelous, or defamatory manner

Incorporate the Media into trademarks, logos, or service marks, without express written permission from Nicholas Damien Photography

Make the Media available for download.

Nicholas Damien Photography will not be liable for any third-party claims or incidental, consequential or other damages arising out of this license or Buyer’s use of the Media.

LICENSE

All images are property of Nicholas Damien Photography and are copyrighted by british law. They cannot be copied, used or published for commercial purposes without Nicholas Damien Photography’s clear, written permission to do so. Nicholas Damien Photography reserves the right to use all of Client’s images on website, blogs, or any other related marketing material.
